Sleep apnea is a common, serious disorder where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep, preventing restful, restorative rest. It typically causes loud snoring, extreme daytime tiredness, and morning headaches. Untreated, it can lead to high blood pressure, heart issues, and stroke. It is diagnosed via a sleep study.  Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) uses custom-fitted mouthguards, like Mandibular Advancement Devices (MADs) or Tongue Retaining Devices to ensure continuous airflow and better oxygenation.
